On Saturday Nov. 7, at 8:00 pm Newton Baroque presents Mary Oleskiewicz, flute, Andrus Madsen, harpsichord, and Douglas Kelley  in a recital of works by J.S. Bach.  The program includes flute sonatas in A major, E minor, the partita in A minor for unaccompanied flute, as well as the grand sonata in B minor.  Madsen will solo in two works from WTC Book II that complement the program.

Oleskiewicz has been hailed by American Record Guide as “one of the greatest Baroque Flutists of our Time,” and  interpretations of these standard works will be sure to delight.
